Pewsey Vale Hunt Sabs
Pewsey Vale Hunt Saboteurs Welcome to our part of the web…
Pewsey Vale Hunt Saboteurs was formed around 15 years and is still actively campaigning against all forms of bloodsports. We are against the suffering and violence inflicted upon british wildlife in the name of sport. We also work with other local groups and most of the time we will join up together. We are happy to travel and monitor/sabotage in lots of areas from Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, South Wales and Berkshire. As a group we have saved many animals from a cruel and unnecessary death. The houndsports we mostly sabotage are: foxhunting, hare hunting and mink hunting. We also campaign against other bloodsports such as Stag and Deer hunting, Shooting, Hare Coursing, Badger Baiting and Fishing.
The Hunt Ban On the 18th February 2005 a law was finally passed which made hunting with hounds illegal [Hunting Act 2004] and whilst this was a day we had campaigned towards for many years it is certainly not the end of the fight. Most policing of this ban has been given low priority so not much monitoring by the constabulary is done, this is why we are still out there to ensure that hunts do not ignore this law and continue their activities unchallenged.
Help us help Wildlife… Every year, thousands of animals are killed in the name of sport in this country. You can help stop this appalling slaughter. Hunt saboteurs take action where it counts in the killing fields using non-violent direct action tactics to save the lives of thousands of hunted animals every season
There will be a hunt saboteur group near you (and all over the U.K) of which are active at least once a week against the hunts and shoots in their area. All hunt saboteur groups need volunteers working either as activists in the field, saving the hunted animals' lives directly. Or to do the vital background work of fundraising, leafleting, etc, so whatever your age, skills or experience, you will be able to make a crucial contribution to saving animals' lives.
Or if you would like to just make a donation to help our cause. All of which no group can function without the help of caring individuals. Other ways to help… Information on any hunts is much needed in your or any other area; locations of hunt meets are particularly useful. Do you have any unwanted equipment, which could help us save animals lives? We urgently require Video cameras with a decent zoom function. Many people have upgraded to digital, so if you have an unwanted analogue camera gathering dust we can make use of it. Other vital equipment we require to use in monitoring hunts includes Dictaphones, compasses, mobile phones, binoculars and hand held GPS receivers and Ordnance survey maps of any area If you can offer any of these items please get in touch.

This weekend, there will be someone trying to torture and kill innocent wild animals for sport within a few miles of where you live. We are going to be there to stop them. Will you?
