Proposed Badger Cull

The government is proposing allowing farmers to shoot badgers in order to reduce incidence of Bovine TB. I wish this display of ignorance, cruelty and greed were shocking but in my darkest moments it seems more like business as usual. If you care about cows, badgers, science and compassion, read on.

Plant based diet

The message that a plant based diet is GOOD for us, the animals and the planet is getting out there!Check out the link- Mark Bittman food writer for the New York Times makes an eloquent, funny and impasssioned plea for everyone to eat less meat and more plants.
