Ingredients
- 125g vegan marg
- 300ml soya milk
- 2tbsp golden syrup
- 1tsp bicarbonate soda
- 250g gluten free flour or works just as well with plain flour
- 50g cocoa
- 250g brown sugar
Method
- Put marg, syrup and soy milk (holding back a few tbsp) in saucepan and melt slowly
- Sieve flour and cocoa
- Mix bicarb soda and the few tbsp soy milk you held back
- Combine marg, syrup and soy milk mix with flour, cocoa and bicarb with milk.
- Mix well.
- Put in 20cm baking tin lined with greaseproof paper
- Bake Gas 4/180C/350F 30 mins
- Bake Gas 3/160C/300F 1 hr 15 mins
- When knife comes out clean leave to cool.
